The BIG move!

Well I am almost all packed and ready to move to Albuquerque! I am so excited to FINALY live in the same town as Joe!  I must admit I am a little nervous, but I guess that is to be expected when you move so far away from home! The best part about all of this is that I am about to make a new home, and I cannot imagine creating it with out Joe.  He is my support and I am so blessed to move and become Mrs. Joe Aylor!

This has been a long time coming- and one thing I have learned is just how perfect the Lords timing is! WE ARE SO BLESSED!! His grace and mercy is ever present and very avid in our relationship.  Our dream as we start our marriage, is to grow and commit to the plan Christ has for us! With out Him we are nothing- but with Him we can do all things!

So here is to a new move, a husband, and a new home!

Erin is in Tyler

So, I decided that I enjoy life much more when Erin lives in the same city as I do. She is in Tyler right now and I have really been missing her. However, I do have some good friends. Chance and I went to a University of New Mexico football game this last weekend. It was my first college football game. They played Texas A&M. Since there were close to one billion Texans there I decided that it definitely would be worth the trip. Plus, my good friend Mark plays for the football team and I just couldn't resist myself. This is a picture of Chance and I being "brosephs." It was fun.

From today Erin and I will be married in 4 months and 9 days. Crazy huh?

We are still praying for Erin's sister in law Lindsey. She is having surgery in a couple weeks. We will continue to pray for their families. Good news about it today though. The doctor said it is in the beginning process and that they have caught it early. That is great news. Be in prayer for Lindsey and her family. "God, continue to protect them."

Anyways, I hope whoever is reading this is not completely bored out of their mind and I hope you have a blessed day!

Family Prayer

Well, everything seems to be going as planned. We have reserved Mid-Cities Community Church in Midland for our wedding date on January 17th. We are going to do it at 2pm and afterwards we are going to spend a week in St. Lucia.

I am looking forward to being married. There is something about the thought of living your life for someone else that is very special to me. That seems like what marriage is. The Bible says that husbands are to give their lives to their bride as Christ did the church. God seems to work in everything we choose to give him. Nothing could be more special to me than when Erin and I are praying together through situations.

Anyways, we are also praying about Erin's sister-in-law Lindsey Pond. They found out that she has cancer this week. We will continue to pray for God's covering on them. They have been such an encouragement to Erin and I. Jesus, be with them in this time.

Besides that, there are too many things going on to mention. Life is good because God is good.

Back Home

Erin and I went home to visit family and friends this weekend. I dropped Erin off at John and Melissa's house and I am about to hit the sack. We had a great time driving home. That drive from Midland to Albuquerque is beautiful if you hit it right at sunset. We stopped and took some pictures and ran around a field for a little while before finishing our 6 hour trip. Here are some pics:

Anyways, we are back home and it's time to get back to work.

Erin and I love seeing our friends and family! IT's always so refreshing and also hard to come back, but always eventful to go back home.

Hangin Tuff

Joe Chris and Dave are hanging out today! Yippee!

New Blog

I have always wanted to try my hand at blogging, so here it goes. Maybe there is something to say. It's way too late and I am creating blogs.

What a great week this has been. Tuesday Erin and I were engaged. It was a beautiful overlook on Sandia mountain in Albuquerque. She definitely said yes! I'm a luck guy, to say the least. We are violently planning a wedding for January 31st. Put it on your calendar!

That's all there is to say for now. Maybe sleep will follow this blog.
